JCA Parenting Teens

Week 3 Content

We are going to be really anchoring into connection this week, through ways of being, word and action. Connection is what matters most, the way we show up to the relationship with our kids is what will have the biggest influence on their growth and learning. And it’s messy, isn’t it? This week there will be lots to tease apart so be sure to show up in the community over on Voxer. You will be seen and held - it is a space for everyone!

Grounding Meditations:

A tool that I share that I believe is key to supporting us in keeping a calm, grounded mindset is called the 3 Bs. Practicing the 3 Bs on a regular basis support us in having access to the tools, the language and the way of being that ultimately will keep us connected to our teens, while also hearing them, staying curious, and holding boundaries.

Below you will find a short version of the 3Bs, as well as an extended version.
